His team’s innovative New Associate Journey Model — R.O.A.D., centered on Recruiting, Onboarding, Advancing, and Developing — earned the National Apartment Association Excellence Award, and Cortland’s Talent Development team later received the 2023 Innovator Award from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
